More Chanukah Parties!

I told you we had constant Chanukah parties! I think this is the last of them!

Sophia's Chanukah Recital - Pictures

These are just some pictures from Sophia's Chanukah Recital. She really enjoyed being a Maccabee.

This was at the beginning of the performance. Clearly Sophia's teachers told them all to smile, and this is her forced smile. Pretty funny!

Every year Sophia's school has a Chanukah recital. Each class acts as one of the Chanukah characters or items. This year Sophia's class was the Maccabees. Sophia had a great time performing for everyone.

Chanukah Time!

Chanukah was great this year. Both Sophia and William were excited every night to light the candle and rip open the ridiculous number of presents they got! As soon as we told William it was Chanukah time he's start freaking out and point towards the Menorah. We had many parties so we're posting a selection of all the pictures we took.

This was Sophia's reaction as she went in to her room to see her present from Nana and Pop, which Daddy had assembled while she was napping. It was a total surprise. She had no idea why we were going up to her room

A Visit from Nonno and Nonna!

We're a little behind on the blog, so we're trying to catch up! A couple months ago Nonno and Nonna visited us from Italy for Thanksgiving. Sophia and William had a BLAST with them, and it was great to see that even William recognized them from all our pictures around the house and Skype calls. As soon as they walked in the door he knew who they were!

Ballet with Ms. Sandi

Sophia started taking ballet this year with a bunch of her friends from school. Her teacher, Ms. Sandi, actually taught me and my sister ballet when we were kids! Sophia loves her ballet class, and asks every day if it's ballet day. She enters the studio each time through the little munchkin door that is just her height. Jason and I got to observe last week, and saw their different warm ups, silly songs they dance to, and they even practiced their recital song. They do tap for the first half, and then switch to ballet. At the end, the kids curtsied before leaving. We can't wait to see her perform at her recital in May!

Halloween Fun

Sophia was so excited for Halloween this year, and had been talking about it for months. She loved passing by the pumpkin patches and looking at all of the decorations. For Halloween, we had a few friends over to go trick or treating. After a quick dinner, we put on the kids costumes and headed out. After a few unsuccessful tries at group pictures, we went out to trick or treat. The big kids had a blast running from house to house getting candy while the babies enjoyed going for a ride in the wagon.
