Last weekend we had a play date at Sophia's friend Zachary's house with a bunch of their friends. All four of the babies are within about 6 months of each other, and we've loved watching them grow up together. Everyone had some yummy snacks and lunch and a lot of play time together.

Using Utensils
Sophia has loved using utensils for quite a while now. She's been pretty good at using a fork for a few months, but in the past month has gotten good at using a spoon. She seems to finally understand that if she tips the spoon upside down, the food falls off of it, and keeps it steady to her mouth. Of course, she still can make a mess (and usually does)! When she sees her yogurt coming, she yells out "foon" and often tries to tell me what color it is. Her favorite is "orangish".
Having some yogurt for breakfast (note the bed head)
Here it comes!
Big bite!

Talking to the baby on the container (she likes to
share her yogurt with the baby)

Shabbat Bag
Last weekend, it was Sophia's turn to bring the Shabbat bag home from school. The Shabbat bag is a bag filled with lots of Shabbat goodies that each child brings home once each school year. There is a Shabbat bear, a kiddush cup with stickers, a challah, candle sticks, and candles.
We had such a fun Shabbat together! We ate a yummy dinner first so we could wait for Nana to come over and celebrate with us. First Sophia decorated her kiddush cup. She put lots of stickers on her cup, and was so excited and proud of herself after each one. She couldn't wait to drink juice out of her cup!

Sophia playing, jumping, singing
Just a quick video of Sophia playing our our office. She seemed to be on caffeine that night, running around spouting various songs and playing games.
