We had a busy and exciting Halloween weekend this year! On Saturday, one of our neighbors threw a party for a bunch of her friends. We, along with a bunch of their friends and other neighbors, went over to their house for lunch and to play. They rented a jumpy for the party which was a big hit. At first Sophia didn't want to go in it, but after Jason took her in for a little bit she was having a great time. We even went back later that night to jump some more before it was gone.

Sunday was Halloween! Sophia knew what a busy and exciting night she had ahead of her, so she was anxious to take a nap so she would be well rested. Late in the afternoon a bunch of her friends and their parents came over to our house to play. The kids ran around and played with toys and then we had a delicious pot luck dinner. After dinner, we dressed the kids in their costumes and got ready to trick or treat! Sophia got the hang of it pretty quickly! She wouldn't say trick or treat, but she understood that she should take a piece of candy and put it in her basket. It was a little hard to understand that she couldn't take it back out and eat it though! Sophia's favorite decoration was a big blown up cat in someone's yard. She kept staring at it and saying "meow." I finally got her to leave the cat and she let go of my hand and tried to run back to see it again!
